Tests
Traditional medicine asks two separate questions: who you are and what is out of balance right now. The first is your temperament: you are born with it and it changes slowly. The second is which humour has increased; that changes with the season, your diet and your stress. The tests follow that order.
Temperament test
Finds your dominant temperament and places you on the temperament map. The result includes helpful and harmful foods, your seasonal warning and products that suit your temperament.
- 16 questions · about 2 minutes
- Questions chosen from the temperament table in the book
- Scored on two axes: hot–cold and moist–dry
- Result on screen right away, no email needed
Seasonal balance test
Shows which humour is rising right now. If you take it knowing your temperament, the result can be read far more accurately. It is meant to be taken again as the seasons turn.
- 30 signs · about 3 minutes
- From the book’s chapters on the signs of excess
- The result is read according to your temperament
- Ends with food and lifestyle suggestions
Detailed temperament analysis
The book’s full temperament table: 75 traits, with the book’s own weighting. It also covers details the free test leaves out, such as the pulse, skin pores and the palms.
- 75 traits · about 20 minutes
- With the book’s own scoring system
- A full physical and psychological profile
- With sections on choosing work and a partner by temperament
Three steps
- Learn your temperament. Once is enough. Write the result down somewhere.
- Check your balance. See which humour has increased and follow the suggested changes.
- Repeat when the season turns. The book says black bile rises in autumn and bile in summer.
